One thing I love is a cherry on top of a hot fudge sundae, don't you? This was my idea for my embellished devil food cake-cupcakes. It is so simple to mix up. With a icing that just melts in your mouth with buttery sweet goodness!
First we have the ingredients.
Just dump them all in your mixer. Simple right?
Mix it all for 1 1/2 minutes. You don't want to over mix this. With the pudding mix, it tends to thicken fast.
I used a ice cream scoop. It's just the right size for the cupcake.
Bake them for 20 minutes. Pretty huh!
Let them cool. Prepare the ingredients for you icing. Let's talk a second about butter. Yes, that creamy, dreamy dairy product you must have for a perfect icing. Please purchase the good stuff. I know it is expensive. But it really does make a difference in the results for a great topping ;)
